I am a short lady who likes to paint on large canvases. I use mostly acrylics with touches of pastel, spray paint, charcoal and/or texture. I use all the tools: brushes, palette knives, scrapers, and frequently my fingers.
I am a lifelong native of South Louisiana. My art is heavily influenced by the diversity of the marshy landscapes and river industry so prevalent here. My abstracts evolve from a deep imagination and exploration of color, form, and medium, often mixing all three until the image is pleasing and balanced. I constantly explore with new color palettes from bright to soft, bold to light.
I hope you will find a sense of joy, peace and whimsy as a collector or simply as a viewer of my work.
Art is therapy to me on so many levels. I approach my canvases like a I approach life. The journey should be an adventurous one.
This site is dedicated to a curated collection of my work that are available as prints. I believe great art should be within reach and the price of prints are much more affordable than my original pieces. Take time to browse and enjoy the features like Wall Preview and Augmented Reality( you will need mobile device for AR). I print right here in the USA to ensure a high quality product with the lowest possible shipping costs.
